How do I setup my Gmail emails in CentricFlow?

To setup you emails in CentricFlow, please follow the steps in the guide below.

  • Login to CentricFlow
  • Select Agency Settings
  • Select Consultants


  • Click on Email Settings for the required account you wish to setup


  • Complete the form below, using the following settings below the screenshot.

  • SMTP Server = smtp.gmail.com
  • Email Address = Your full email address.
  • Password = Your email password * See considerations below.
  • Port = 587
  • SSL Protocol = Disable SSL
  • TLS Protocol = Enable TLS
  • Recipient for testing = This will default to your email, so we can trigger a test email.

When you click save, we will attempt to send a welcome email/

Considerations

When using the Gmail SMTP server:

  • The sending limit is 2,000 messages per day. 
  • Spam filters might reject or filter suspicious messages.
  • The fully qualified domain name of the SMTP service is smtp.gmail.com.
  • Configuration options include:
    • Port 25, 465, or 587
    • SSL and TLS protocols
  • Passwords: If you have 2-Step Verification enabled, you will need to generate an App Password. Steps to generate an App Password can be found here: https://knowledge.workspace.google.com/kb/how-to-create-app-passwords-000009237
