What types of questions can be asked?

There are 4 types of questions that can be asked and they include:

  1. Text
    Useful when you need candidates to provide a short written response in their own words. Best for collecting specific details that don’t fit into predefined options.

    Example: “Please provide the name of your emergency contact.”
  2. Dropdown
    Useful when there are a limited number of predefined answers. Ensures consistency of responses and prevents typos or unclear entries.

    Example: “Preferred shift pattern” → Options: Day shifts, Night shifts, Weekend only.
  3. Date
    Useful when you need candidates to select a specific date. Useful for availability, compliance, or scheduling.

    Example: “What is the earliest date you are available to start work?”
  4. Checkbox
    Useful when candidates may need to select one yes/no style question. Works well for confirmations or acceptance.

    Example: “Please confirm the are happy for us to completed a DBS Check?”
